First attempt to locate WW II aircraft in Kings Canyon National Park the final or remaining Curtis Wright P-40 Fighter Aircraft (1 of 5) that crashed in October 24,1941. The “August of 2010″ adventure.

I live in Oarhurst and write for Sierra Stirling Newspaper. Featuring over thirty years of hiking the Sierra Nevada Mountains. My book: “Wilderness of my Years”. I do slide show presentations on hiking, and have spoken to Kiwanis, Rotary, Civic Groups, Boys & Girls Scouts and local schools.
