Mariposa County Courthouse

This courthouse, established in 1854, is oldest courthouse west of the Rocky Mountains that is still in use. Judge Thomas Coakley, one of the museums founders inspired this exhibit. Copies of some notorious and notable trials are included in this exhibit. Link to actual Courthouse page.

Courthouse Stove

This is the stove that kept court house warm on those cold bleak days while trials were in session.
