Coakley Award Winners 2024
In 1989, the Mariposa Museum and History Center Board of Directors began a tradition to recognize volunteers who have given years of outstanding service. Named after Judge Tom Coakley, one of the first founding fathers of the Museum, this award represents the dedication and hard work that individuals have provided the Museum. It is because of these individuals that the growth and success of the History Center are possible.

Randy Bolt has been a more recent volunteer since the beginning of 2023 but has stepped up to the plate as a volunteer for our tours, especially during the busy school tour season. With his expertise in the gold rush and mining history and past experience working at the Mineral and Mining Museum, he has been a happy addition to our volunteers.
